When it comes to complementary colours and how they can be worn, it can be hard to know which shades work together and which ones don’t. After all, it comes down to trial and error – the ideal fashion mantra prevents us from trying everything at a time and then learning from mistakes. Back in the daily and on the Instagram boards, where this summer two of the most important color trends – green and lilac – come together at an unexpectedly elegant level. It seems one of the easiest (read: least daunting) ways to wear it, opting for pastel iterations of green and purple, which blend beautifully.

We’ve officially started the last summer month of this year and if we haven’t succeeded so far, from now on we could experience fun patterns and shades that we wouldn’t normally wear (or that might not always be available for the period autumn-winter). Whether we are talking about the combination green-purple or red-pink, it is important to experiment.
