What happens when we travel together #LondonIsInOurJeans

#LondonIsInOurJeans

My trips to London have been increasing for a while now, and when I am not there, the jeans which I’m wearing daily remind me that London is still in our jeans, regardless of our exact location. A few weeks ago I flew back to London for a special Lee Cooper project – and if you only have seen me in Lee Cooper campaigns until now, this time I had the pleasure to shoot alongside Raul. I was glad to see the invitation from Lee Cooper Romania – they wanted us together in the campaign. I’m always experiencing different feelings when I travel without him- excitement and longing at the same time. Everything goes quickly when I get to my destination and work, but I am ready to come back as soon as I close my baggage and prepare to go to the airport for my flight home. I was looking forward to sharing the results of this campaign with you on social media channels and here on the blog, and I’m excited to finally let you know that the day has come.

It seems that this project had the most first of alls’ because it was the first campaign video where I was not involved in the post-production process. But I left everything in very good hands – San took care of everything related to the editing and I must say that the result was exactly as I wanted it. San is among that restricted circle of individuals who I trust when it comes to the video area – you know me, I’m a bit of a control freak on my work, so yeah. It was the first time I worked with Alina Negoita (photo) – a warm and super open person who mentioned her passion for photography and film from the very beginning. She talked about political, fashion and off-topic projects, her passion for books, and the impact of all these things in her London life.

So, a few weeks ago I packed up Lee Cooper’s luggage and got on a plane to London. We were going to stay for a few days in the capital of Great Britain and I was super-excited about everything that was going to happen. I rented a super bright, fully-equipped apartment somewhere in Clerkenwell (and if you’re into this kind of places you should check PlumGuide.com, a site where you will find luxury apartments in London and Paris). The shooting and filming locations were varied and I experienced the entire weekend as an adventure. The Lee Cooper spirit is the East London one, so I’ve been looking for the exact streets to express that. Styling was simple, easy-going, comfortable – specific to what Lee Cooper really means. I have posed around 12 of the new spring-summer 2018 collection, items that are already available in Lee Cooper stores across the country. I’m posting the photos here along with the video, where I meant to say I worked with so much care – but actually San did – but really now, I really worked with love, because in the end it’s not just about the post-production process, it’s about the characters in the film as well.

Finally, I’m glad I had the chance to meet young people, 100% passionate about their work, I’m glad we had the chance to be in this project with Raul – I enjoyed the highest rate of energy, as every time I’m with him – and not alone in my trips. As I was telling you at the beginning of this article, I’m always experiencing different feelings when I travel without him- excitement and longing at the same time. Everything goes quickly when I get to my destination and work, but I am ready to come back as soon as I close my baggage and prepare to go to the airport for my flight home. This time was different. And London is still in our jeans.
