amFAR Gala open New York Fashion Week
With a rather high number of celebs in town for New York Fashion Week, the annual amfAR Gala New York always acts as the unofficial kickoff of the week’s festivities. Star-studded, glamorous, and dedicated to a worthy cause, this year’s event certainly did not disappoint.
Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, Heidi Klum, Nicky Hilton Rothschild, Michelle Rodriguez, and Karolina Kurkova were among those in attendance at Cipriani Wall Street last night, helping to toast the evening’s honorees, Milla Jovovich, legendary fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, and amfAR supporter and auctioneer Simon de Pury.
The black-tie bash featured performances by Caroline Vreeland, Parson James, and The Chainsmokers, with special guest Kelsea Ballerini. Needless to say, guests jumped out of their seats to groove.
By the end of the night, the event raised over $1.7 million for amfAR’s lifesaving AIDS research programs.
